Basket base made of rush fibres (Juncus sp.) arranged in a spiral and joined with a sedge thread (Carex sp.) by means of a simple stitch. These plants are typical of riparian and wetland areas, which must have been abundant around Lake Banyoles.
Several pieces of basketry have been recovered at La Draga, although always in a fragmentary manner, so the original shape of the containers is not known.
