Bronze sculpture consists of a galloping horse and a rider carrying defensive and offensive weapons of a Roman legionary: helmet, armour, gladius... This object was found by chance in 1967 when the foundations of house were being laid in Tapioles Street. This object was modelled from two moulds to be viewed from one side. It was probably related to a tomb whose location is unknown. Because of the representation it may be supposed that this was a Roman citizen from Iesso who made a military career in the cavalry.
