Key formed by a circular eye, a solid stem and a square U-shaped blade. A frequent type in the Middle Ages, it was used to lock portable containers. It was found with an individual adult buried in the mass graves in the medieval Jewish cemetery (FS 164), very close to a set of stacked coins, which must have been in a case which the deceased would carry on his waist.
