Cup with vertical tape handles and horizontal lugs, corresponding to fine black varnished tableware produced in Naples (Campania, Italy) between 250-200 BC. Shape Lamb. cup 49B / F 3311. The use of cups which had prototypes in metal vessels usually of silver or bronze is linked to individual consumption of liquids, especially wine.
This piece was found in House 5 of the Iberian settlement of Pla de les Tenalles, in the destruction and final abandonment level of the settlement around 200 BC
