Fragment of a polylobed panel with vegetal decoration organised from two shoots of arabesques.
Each main shoot is divided into two branches forming almost symmetrical double-circle compositions with small unilobate leaves along the stem and shoots that generate several leaves, either digitate or bipartite.
The second composition is more complex, with identical elements but with two branches ending in a palmette.
This decorative panel shows the composition and the original elements of the collection of plasterwork from Balaguer Castle, and parallelisms are found directly in the compositions of madina al-Zahra.
