Description
Small whole domestic stone altar. It is square-shaped, the base is flat and it has a very simple straight and bevelled moulding at the top and bottom of the altar. This leaves the upper face more sunken, allowing it to be used for libations or to burn incense. The body retains traces of polychrome paint in some places. It was documented in the rescue excavation during the new paving work in 11th September Avenue in 2008.
