Large biconical jug with a vertical tape handle and polished outer surface, of Iberian grey pottery produced between 250-200 BC. It has as many as four holes to repair the area of the base.
While the use of biconical jugs is linked to consumption of liquids, the large format suggests either community-type consumption or that it is not a jug for consumption, but of service.
This piece was found in House 3 in the Iberian settlement Pla de les Tenalles, in the destruction and final abandonment level of the settlement dated around 200 BC.
