Small oenochoe with a globular body and raised vertical handle with a tape cross-section. It is an Iberian pottery production of between 250-200 BC.
Although the best represented oenochoe in the Ilergetes world have a cylindrical body, there are others that can also adopt various solutions with regard to body shape (globular, pear-shaped); however, the format tends to be large. The uniqueness of this small oenochoe is its size, which would lead us to relate it with the service of special or important liquids or even a ritual use (libations?).
This piece was found on Floor 24 of the Iberian city of Molí d'Espígol, in the final abandonment level of the settlement around 200 BC
