A small format Iberian ceramic vessel produced between 250-200 BC.
The use of these small vessels, which had prototypes in metal vessels usually made of silver with elaborate decoration, is linked to individual consumption of liquids. Thus, the small goblet could be seen as the ‘economical' counterpart to the original metal ones that would not have been available to everyone.
This piece was found on Floor 27 in the Iberian city of Molí d'Espígol, in the final abandonment level of the settlement around 200 BC.
