Description
The pruning hook is an agricultural tool that is still used today. There are various sizes. The larger ones often have a sharp barb on the back, and were used for pruning and cutting branches. The smaller ones were used to make grafts and to cut the bunches during the harvest. Quite a few have been found in the city of Baetulo, which is an indicator of the agricultural environment of the city and its specialized wine production.
