Coin in the modern Catalan series, mint: Barcelona. Ardit of Philip II of Catalonia and III of Spain. Obverse: male head looking right, legend A and R on each side. Reverse: shield of the city of Barcelona, legend BARCINO CIVITAS. Found by chance in the area of Font del Castell in 1976.
