Bronze ring with a seal at the top decorated with a waterfowl, printed as a negative. It was found in 1987 in the excavations in the entrance to the enclosure (Sector 01) in an Early Medieval layer of Phase 2.
This type of signet ring was quite common in the Iberian world and originated in the western Mediterranean, with productions from the fifth century BC. The Iberian imitations date from much later, from the third century BC. Parallelisms for this ring from Olèrdola were found in the necropolis of La Serreta, Valencia (Cortell et al. 1992, fig 17, No. 10, 11 and 12); necropolis in Carmona (Belén, Escacena 1992, Fig. 5, 666 -Tombs 14) and in Lattes (Roaux 1999, Fig. 1387 and 1389).
