Large attic column crater, with high body in the shape of a spinning top, short and cylindrical neck, high and robust lip. The handles look like two small columns emerging from the lip. The piece has painted decoration on both sides using the red figure technique. On one side there is a scene of komos, where in the centre a male figure with a hymation on his shoulder, dancing and holding a stick in his right hand, on the sides there is a female figure with a peplo and a himation playing the double flute and another male figure in a short tunic dancing and holding a stick and a kylix. On the other side there is a scene of conversation. Attributed by Beazley to the Agrigento painter.
