Description
Selection of objects that are among the instruments used by the ship's captain or pilot to plot and chart the course. It consists of a point compass, a ruler, two weights to hold the nautical charts, a blackboard with marks having been used for drawing calculations and courses, a wooden and brass pencil, and a brass candlestick for lighting.
