Description
The mosaic from Bell-lloc depicts a chariot race in the Circus Maximus in Rome. It gives the name of the charioteers and horses occupied the far left of the hitch. Three horses are in full race. Some chariots have overturned. The spina represents statues of the goddesses Minerva and Cybele.
