Volute lamp with the representation of a scene where there is a child figure, nude and winged, like a Cupid, who observes a hare that hides behind the leaves of a vine full of grapes.
The representation of Cupid, responsible for falling in love and human passions, accompanied by hares and rabbits, is common in Latin iconography. These animals were associated with fertility and sexuality, two issues for which Cupid was quite famous.
