Dish with a wing decorated in blue and lustre, produced in Valencia. It is made with compact clay that has vacuoles and a very fine temper. The clay takes a beige hue ranging from yellow to pink. The glaze is rich in tin and covers both the inside and outside of the plate. This type of ceramic was produced in Valencia from the first half of the fourteenth century. Its decoration is damaged and has lost part of the lustre, which highlights the cobalt blue. It has radial floral decoration consisting of four leaves painted in blue coming out of a cross in the middle of the piece, which has ribs with geometric and plant elements outlined in lustre. The rim, differentiated by an inflection, is marked by a concentric blue line inside two lines in lustre. Its functionality corresponds to tableware at the beginning of the fourteenth century, luxurious in nature, which served both to present semi-liquid products at the table and for individual use.
