Circular cross-section ring with a thickening in the part where the stone would be embedded. It was found near the Via Augusta, in a funerary enclosure, where there was an ustrinum or space for the cremation of the dead. In addition to charcoal and remains of human bones, four glass ointments and this gold ring were recovered. It must have been decorated with a precious stone or glass, perhaps carved, but now lost, and which must have been part of the attire of the cremated person.
