Description
Cover: sarcophagus lid with scenes of agricultural work carried out in the four seasons of the year. The decoration in the front of the cover is on each side of a square smooth cartouche, where the name of the deceased should go, supported by two winged genii (Erotes). On the right, the grape harvest is represented by a naked putti, and on the left farmers in short tunics are harvesting olives and working the mill.
