Fragment of an amphora, corresponding to the edge and neck of the Dressel 1A shape, to transport Italian wine production. On the neck it has a painted titulus pictus representing the consular trademark Q. FAB. (...) COS. This inscription could correspond to the consul in 121 BC Quintus Fabius Maximus Allobrogicus or the consul in 116 BC Quintus Fabius Maximus Eburnus. This object allows us to date all the graves documented in the archaeological park, which are linked to the early years of the founding of the city of Iesso. We believe it is likely that the mark corresponds to the consul in 121 BC and, after an aging process and transport of the wine, it might have reached Iesso under construction in about 100 BC.
