Fragment of a ceramic basil pot which, on the rim, displays the characteristic circles that alternate with merlons. Outside, on the tin varnish, the reflective metallic decoration represents the lozenge coat of arms of Count Pere II of Urgell, surrounded by a geometric and vegetable motif, circles, small spirals and parallel lines, knots with four and five loops and encircled trefoils. Basil pots were large containers for basil, an aromatic plant that was used as seasoning and mosquito repellent.
