Figure of the child Jesus, made from pipe clay with a mould. The child is standing, completely naked and holds a bird in both hands that bites his fingers. The eyes of the figurine are small, while the nose, the chin and the lips are prominent and well-marked, in relief. The work of the figurine shows careful details, as can be seen in the presence of the navel and a fold of the skin in the lower part, between the belly and the pubis. The lower half of the legs are missing. Originally, it must have been inside a box or cradle made of silver or polychromed wood. This is the only known example in Catalonia or Spain of this type of small figurine made from pipe clay in Utrecht and is possibly also one of the oldest specimens produced in those workshops.
