Quadrangular stone pedestal that rests on a square base. One side presents a votive inscription dedicated to the military genius of Rome symbolized by the eagle representing the numen of Louis Ariniger the wings that guided and protected the Roman legions. The face containing the inscription is worn on its left angle and the other three sides are completely smooth. The letters of the inscription are irregular, 5 cm high, except for the lower one, with a size of 3 cm, and 2.77 cm in the last line. The date is now the first day of the year 70 when the legion received the titles of "Gemina" and "Felix" granted by Rome, and in 195, when it obtained the nickname "Pia" granted by the emperor Aurelius Commodus and which does not appear in this registration. In palaeographic attention to the character of the letters, it indicates the age of the Antonine emperors, towards the end of the second century. It commemorates the anniversary of the delivery of the sacred eagle to the legion because of its title Gemina. The legionary eagle, revered as divine numen, symbolized the military genius of Rome. It also reveals that a detachment or a company of the vexillarius of the Legion, under the command of Junius Victor was in Empuries in the second half of the second century. The translation of the inscription is: Jupiter, Optimum, Maximum. The Vexillatio of the seventh legion, Gemina, happy, commanded by Junius Victor, the centurion of it, because of the birthday party of the legionary eagle.
